Living with pain..

It’s hard to digest sometimes. But you have to live with the choices you’ve made in your past. Whether you regret them or not, that’s upto how you feel about the situation.

When you care and love for someone and tell them you wish them happiness with someone else, meaning it when you say it, but then conflicting a few minutes later about whether you meant it. The burning feeling inside of you that kills you, literally kills you … feeling like your stuck in a prison with no escape.Not being able to see your love. Not being able to feel the touch of your love once again..

Recollections of her beautiful eyes, and adorable voice, and the feel of her love.. Yes, the feel of her love for you..again and again into your mind.. Her showing up in your dreams. Waking up with tears in your eyes a year or two or more and more.

You try to forget. You try to get over it. You try your best to just forget.. But you don’t want to forget. And you don’t want to get over it.

And well.. sometimes I feel like these wounds will never heal. I’ve tried. I’ve seriously

Truth is love will kill you. Love is powerful. Those beautiful three words are strong that you just don’t say to anyone… Need I say what they are?

Wounds are in the heart. You know they didn’t mean to hurt you, at all. But the wounds will still be there… And you know that these wounds won’t heal.

You know for a fact and make a promise that you’ll always be there for your beloved. No matter how hurt you’ve been. If they just want to talk. Talk about anything. Your ready to listen. Whether it’s at 3pm or 3am. If they’re ever in any trouble, you’ll be there for them. If they get mistreated, you protect them. If they ever need a place to stay for any reason, your there for them. If someone speaks an ill word about them, you throw that piece of ***** …………. If you hurt them, then you shall hurt yourself a hundred times more. You tell them that you love them. Remind them that you’ll always be there for them. Whenever they need you, your doors, phone lines, and arms are wide open 24/7.

I need help.
I feel helpless.
Maybe I need to see a doctor.
I made someone feel like crap and I don’t know if that person will ever forgive me.
I did many bad things in my life in the past and I can’t stop it. It was the past…….

I feel like i’m missing something.
And I need your help. My one and only.
The true bride to be. Won’t even talk to me.
I want to say I’m sorry.

With the stress of work and all this.. I can’t take it anymore.
I think I need anti-depressants.
I can’t turn to drugs because that would just be wrong, or maybe not…It might take all the pain I feel all away.

Project in Progress & Dealing with an Unsatisfied Client

I never thought of being in the web designing business. My marketing company went from being a marketing firm to a marketing and web development firm. Sounds more pretigous. I’ve never been comfortable talking on the phone with strangers. The only client i’m actually comfortable talking with is my first client that not I’ve not only provided marketing services too, but had two websites made for him. It’s all good.

Recently I signed a contract with a person to re-design his 38 page website, completely. Previously I’ve had 3 web designing jobs done by one web designer. I developed a good business relationship with the guy however he took longer than I expected on the last project, so I decided to go with another one to see how it works out. I hired a guy do lead project management. Big Mistake.

Seriously, big mistake thusfar. For the first time I’m dealing with an extrodinarily unsatisfied client. I got a voicemail this morning from my client telling me that he’s questioning my credibility and he might ‘have to do something he hoped not too’ with the contract. I quickly called and resolved the issue and we have a meeting Monday morning, let’s see how that goes. When I checked on the progress of the website earlier, the web designer was pretty much NO WHERE. Like seriously, no where. I provided all the information, and it’s no where.

This goes back to my post about my mistakes of outsourcing. I’m considering hiring an in-house person to take care of projects, less profit.. But then again less headaches as well. The marketing aspect of the company is great, I’m really comfortable with it and it’s something I know. Web Development however, I’m new too. But i’m learning.

Anyways, alot of working to do this weekend with the designer to get a good design mock-up ready for the Monday morning meeting, should be headed to bed.

My Problem with Outsourcing

After I was laid off and started my own marketing company there were several challenges to over come. Like how to get clients. That’s the main thing I struggle with most of the time. When a local client that I advertise for asked me if I knew any web designers, I got thinking. Maybe I should offer web designing services.

Now the thing is.. I don’t know web design. Nor have any desire to learn. But I offered web designing services anyways. I posted an ad online around 10pm and by 5am I had 40 applications in my inbox. That’s way too much to look through. After looking at about 15 I hired one. Overseas. Now the first designer I hired performed a pretty good job. And the profit margin for the service was good too. I gave him a total of about three projects. Last week I received my largest web design project, a total of 38 pages, with a log-in form, an online store and all that good stuff.

When I asked this designer to give me ideas of what to use, he showed me some non-impressive stuff. After about a day of looking at the ideas he had I decided to keep this designer to design logos and stuff, but go with a different web designer for now.. So I put another ad online for a designer. Again I got dozens of applications. I hired a designer with the best application and rate. The client contract was signed last Monday, with an advance payment. I sent over the advance payment and the plans for the website and there we were set to start the project. It’s now been about 7 days and we’re barely anywhere. My previous designer worked overseas but worked on US standard time. This new designer works when he pleases, which is generally not a convinient time for us to speak and walk-through.

What angered me (not ALOT but some-what) was how I tried to contact him for the past few hours (starting at 4:30), while it showed him as available. And he responds at 7:40pm, wants more details on the site, clearly showing that we’re basically no where with the design and the client wants a sample, like yestaurday morning. And he’s offline by 7:57pm because he needs to sleep. The pros of this is I can submit a report once the project is done on his ‘timeliness, availability,etc.” and that benefits others, con: that does nothing for me. I had a time problem with the last web design project but ended up leaving a 5/5 rating for the freelancer because I’m just cool like that.

Here are some things I suggest if your looking to outsource a project:

Look at there previous portfolio. (IMPORTANT)
Get references, this is easy for people looking for outsourcing through websites like Odesk, Freelancer, & Elance. (IMPORTANT)
Check availability. (IMPORTANT)

Although sometimes it may be a tough experience, shouldn’t just put it down. The main reason people outsource is to increase profitability. Even though the person isn’t always someone you’ve never met, you can build a business relationship over-time.

Twitter at 3am

The reason i’m writing this is because it’s 3am, I have an accounting mid-term in a few hours and I can’t sleep.

So I decided to log onto Echofon (a Twitter iPhone app.) I use it all the time.. But what I forgot was in the search menu there’s an option for you to click on “nearby tweets.” You may think it’s kind of stalker-ish, and I think it is..At the same time it’s pretty cool. Like no joke, it’s been a while since I clicked on it.. As people tweet a green pin-pointer points on the location, you can click, and view the tweet… But that’s not what I was really into..

If you like traveling, let’s compare this app to traveling. Go virtually anywhere to see what people are thinking. Use your finger on the touchscreen and head towards England, or Italy.. Or anywhere… And see the green pin-pointers drop down and see what’s up.

STALKER-ISH. But I like it.. I don’t know if it’s been brought up or not, the whole privacy thing. Say your using an phone to tweet, your IP address will come up, you can click and it’ll take you to your exact location (street and everything) to where your at. It’s become a privacy concern on Facebook as well as Twitter, sharing your location and all.

I got bored 30 minutes in.. And i’m tired. And i’m done.

Take a semester off?

It’s the worst time for business to be busy. Fall semester started last month and right when exams have started i’m getting a new stack of meetings every to every other day. I’m really packed and really stressed out, not sure as to what to do.

My company site is finally about to launch and i’m really excited about that. I feel like taking an entire semester off and focusing on work full-time, temporarily. Then go back to school after spring semester is over.

Not sure of anything yet.

Last night was amazing

Last night I went to a graduation party and I must say it’s the best fun I’ve head a long while. It was nice meeting friends and making a few new friends. What I liked about this graduation party was that after the Adhan there were arrangements for Salah. Afterwords I met a few people that lived in my old neighborhood but I never really spoke too, they were very knowledgable about religion and I learned alot.

I wish more graduation parties would’ve been like the one I attended last night.
